Natural Green has completed a new interiors project for Capital International, a financial services business, supporting the final stage of a major office refurbishment. The workspace reflects Capital’s collaborative and client-focused culture. The brief was clear. Create a contemporary environment that supports teamwork, flexibility and growth, while remaining practical, compliant and easy to maintain.

Natural Green Creative Spaces has been delighted to support our client design4retail on the delivery of the New Balance Holiday 2025 campaign at its Oxford Street store. Over the last few weeks, our role has focused on providing creative, practical and hands-on support through the sourcing and supply of festive foliage to help bring the in-store concept to life.

Admired for its strength and adaptability, the Carpinus or Hornbeam is a native of Europe and has been used for centuries in hedging, avenues, and formal gardens thanks to its dense foliage and ability to be shaped. Designers often use Hornbeam for structure and privacy to create a living architectural element that defines spaces. Faux versions allow this to be achieved instantly, indoors or out.

Famed for its spectacular autumn foliage, few trees can rival the kaleidoscope of colours of Liquid Amber, from purple and crimson through to orange and gold. Whether fresh or faux, clients can enjoy the richness of colour year-round, avoiding the fleeting nature of autumn leaves which make them perfect for projects where atmosphere matters most.

Cheltenham Racecourse is one of the most iconic sporting venues in the country and the November Meeting is an important moment in the racing calendar. Attracting around 70,000 visitors across the three days, the atmosphere is electric. Their deep green foliage holds its colour year-round, making them a reliable choice for entrances, avenues, or hospitality terraces. Taxus baccata, or the English Yew, has been cultivated for centuries, often seen framing stately homes, churchyards, and historic gardens. Known for its longevity — some Yews in the UK are over 2,000 years old — it’s a tree that symbolises endurance and timelessness.

No. 8 – Acer Renowned for its spectacular autumn colours, the Acer (maple) is a design favourite for good reason. From vibrant crimsons to rich ambers and golds, no other tree offers such a natural firework display as the seasons turn. Acer trees hold cultural significance across the world. In Japan, the tradition of “momijigari”, viewing autumn leaves is as celebrated as cherry blossom in spring. In Canada, of course, the maple leaf is a national symbol of pride and endurance.

In a new series, the experts at Natural Green will be counting down their top ten trees, meanings, history and why clients love them. This week at number 9 is Cloud Pinus Architectural and striking, the Cloud Pinus takes inspiration from the centuries-old Japanese art of Niwaki pruning, where evergreens are carefully shaped into cloud-like tiers. The result is a sculptural tree that feels part artwork, part nature.
